- The position transitioned to the Corporate Global NOC in April of 2006 as a first level Infrastructure Analyst. Roles as a first level support person included diagnosing fundamental routing and switching related issues, and escalating to second level for any changes that needed to be made. - In February of 2001, the IT department at Nextel was outsourced to Confidential . Through this outsource, all IT personnel were transitioned to Confidential employees. Since the outsourcing, Nextel has gone to a more centralized model. All servers are now supported by the LAN services group.
