Responsibilities:
- Used bash shell scripts and C# to develop monitoring software tool on different server products detailing connectivity status, uptime, failure incidents and capability to email or send SMS to support administrators for notification of potential problems.
- Used bash shell scripts interchangeably with Expect for use on Linux VMs to facilitate reports for non-admin intervention.
- Assisted PSO with monitoring scripts on VM images in Perl, assisted in Confidential web setup for monitoring server processes, and created many bash shell scripts for reporting purposes to customer and internal colleagues.
- Whenever application errors occurred, reviewed specific server application logs and provide support team with findings via automated email messages.
