Responsibilities:
- I was a working supervisor with ten employees. My cover a large ever growing portfolio of buildings in Downtown Detroit.
- This was a fast paced and demanding job. I would take calls and emails from multiple Property Managers or Engineering management and perform and delegate the work to the Engineers and Maintenance staff based on skill and availability. I would reach out to vendors to assist when needed. I assist in the field and train the maintenance staff as needed.
- I would work on cooling towers, chillers, water source heat pumps, boilers, split units, plumbing, electrical, fire pump testing, and many other items. I developed preventive maintenance programs for all the locations and was continually finding ways to improve.
- I enjoyed this position and left on good terms with notice. Three individuals I hired are still employed here and I'm told they doing well and one received a promotion.
