  • I redesigned the Bid Register, improving the content and presentation.
  • The Register is used by the Bid Manager and Sales Executives to monitor the progress of customer quotations, and to provide reports and statistical analysis to management and sales personnel. Improvements were achieved by:
  • Changing the visual style and bringing to the fore the workflow.
  • Redesigning the structure of the Bid Register and adding additional external linked Workbooks to facilitate statistical reporting.

  • Installed Confidential 5.5 Build 1279 on the Development, Test, Shadow, and Production servers which were new servers (VMs) built with Server 2008.

  • I provided the Confidential solution for a new ERP application being developed for Confidential by Confidential adhering.
  • This was the largest implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX in Europe and run to some very tight deadlines using Agile principles and the Scrum methodology.
  • My role was to design and implement the document management solution alongside the Logica consultants and Confidential Solution Architects. XML files were used as the data transport mechanism between the AX application and Confidential .
  • Installed Confidential 5.5 (Persuasion) on Production, Test, and Development servers located in Sweden.
  • Designed the overall Confidential solution in Design Center using Confidential tools XMLIN, PageOUT, StoryTeller, Document Broker and Post Processor Queries, and all output documents working with Confidential Workstream Leads and Logica Consultants.
  • Created XML schemas for all document designs to interface with the Dynamics AX ERP application.
  • Created Confidential scheduled tasks for housekeeping the running applications.
  • Provided application support for the new Confidential application, initially giving first and second level support, and eventually the Logica support team and transferring responsibility to them.

  • Recruited and developed a support team for the Confidential legacy applications (accounting, spare parts administrations, packaging administration).
  • This was initially a team of 4 which grew quickly to a team of more than 12 analyst programmers.
  • Specified, coded, and tested changes to Confidential ’s Packaging Administration System (PAS) to comply with the requirements of the use of the Euro and multi-currency financial transactions.
  • Upgraded Confidential ’s COBOL applications for Confidential (more than 1,500 programs and runtime macros).
