Responsibilities:

  • Participated in the design and development, maintenance and enhancement of Pricing Securities System. Prices and Factors for each active CUSIP are gatheird from various vendors to calculate the market price.
  • We multiply passthrough securities Price by Factor. If no price is available for that CUSIP for the current date a previous business day price is to be used in calculation depending on a type of security.
  • All data is validated and inserted into CPD Table (Central Processing Database). CPD database contains data for the current date.
  • All data is transmitted to distributed. Prices are being received and calculated on intraday and end of day bases. For Historical purposes data is being sent to Datawarehouse for storage. Pricing system was mostly written in COBOL, using SQL DB2 store procedures.
  • Designed, coded, maintained and performed enhancement of an in-house Application PMD (Process and Move Data). This application enables Mainframe files to be transmitted from mainframe production source to production or all lower environments servers simultaneously on distributed side.
  • Utilizing DB2 tables, web screens to insert and update values on the PMD databases. Most of the modules were written COBOL, DB2, Stored Procedure in Batch and Distributed environment under OS/MVS. Responsibilities included: program specifications, program coding, testing, and moving to production. Production Support.
  • Participated in the development, maintenance and enhancement of DTCC Billing and Finance System.CBL / UBS / OBL Billing Subsystems accept, validate and process all DTCC Billing Data from all DTCC Products such as Settlement, OMGEO and others.
  • All input data are validated and inserted into Billing CBL Tables. The billing process was run daily, weekly and monthly bases. Mostly done on MF, with some On-Line Processing. Clients can enter their transactions using CICS Billing Subsystem - Confidential . At the beginning of the next month, all billing data processed by the UBS Billing Subsystem is sent to Metro Net Software, that will produce / generate the invoices for all participants / accounts involved in the DTCC.
  • In addition to tasks and applications listed above participated in Disaster Recovery providing production support. Was heavily involved in maintenance, testing, production support of Y2K changes on Billing, Pricing and Participant Fund applications for batch and on-line modules. Participated in maintenance testing production deployments on various other in-house applications.
