Management Achievements

  • Planned, scheduled and coordinated installation of new United States Africa Command AFRICOM liaison office in the Pentagon. This involved working with units located in three different locations across the globe as well as two different support organizations in the Pentagon. Worked around the time zone differences to ensure that schedules were being kept, hardware shipments and procurement were followed up on, and had oversight of all local operations supporting new office.
  • Managed and implemented project that established a new Secured Storage Facility in Moscow USSR. Hired staff, procured equipment and shipped it by secure caravan across Russia. Manager of operations and personnel management, work scheduling. Reported to the ambassador on issues related to site.
  • Established requirements and installed a classified network at the United States European Command EUCOM Headquarters building, located in Belgium, two weeks ahead of schedule and with little disruption to current operations.
  • Took over as manager of a site where the customer had lost confidence in the performance of previous manager and staff. I replaced staff, interviewed and hired new techs, and worked closely with the customer and senior staff to build a closer working relationship with them.
