Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge and experience with terminating and testing Cat 5E/6A cabling, fiber optic cabling, fiber connectors, and fiber optic cable floor and wall jacks.
  • Ability to install fiber and copper network cabling from the communications closet to the end user space.
  • Ability to install multiple computers using KVM switches and multiple monitors, peripheral devices such as printers and digital scanners, also perform basic configuration of VoIP phones and DVTC systems.
  • Connect and disconnect networking equipment in communications racks.
