Category 6 experience includes the installation and “Punching Down” Category 6 cabling to Industry standards.
Category 6 troubleshooting and testing experience includes Wire mapping, Toning out and using the Fluke DTX 1800 Cable Analyzer for testing.
Experience with the installation, deployment and connectivity of Cisco and Foundry Networks Routers and Switches.
Experience with light electrical including the installation and planning of conduit pathways and the installation of electrical circuits for communications closets including DC power
Experience with VOIP, Time Division Multiplexing and routing of Ethernet Circuits
Experience with coaxial cabling
Experience with the installation of cable tray, ladder rack of all types, and conduit
Experience in data center environments
Experience with Wireless Access Points
Working knowledge of all industry installation best practices (BICSI, TIA/EIA, NFPA, OSHA)
