Responsibilities:
- Provided 2nd-level technical support to multiple clients over a range of EAS releases ( 5.0.2 - 6.4.1 ) including ACA\HPCA (7.1.4 -8.0.2 ).
- Worked closely wif engineering to help resolve complex software issue both in teh field and pre-production release testing, utilizing VM Workstation lab, and other methods.

- Provided 2nd-level support to multiple EAS clients over a range of releases ( 5.0.2 - 6.4.1 ), resolving issues exceeding teh client’s expectations at times, and resulted in a significant pay rise as a result.
- Supported day-to-day EAS operation for 42,000 users at one of teh world's largest bank, resolved a number of issues impacted thousands of user in a timely manner, and successfully help planned for future upgrades.

Responsibilities:
- Planned, implemented teh deployed MacAfee’s suite of anti-virus software, including VirusScan (for desktop/servers), Personal firewall (laptops), and GroupShield for Exchange.
- Recommended, and deployed McAfee’s EPO product used for teh distribution of DAT, central control of anti-virus defense, and product updates. Using EPO we were able to push out DAT updates to over 1400+ workstations/servers in 13 locations throughtout teh country in under an hour.
- Managed and implemented teh successful upgrade of 5 Front/Back-End Exchange 2000 servers to Exchange 2003, including verification of several tied-in applications including, Esker’s VSIFax, EMC/Legato’s Emailxtender Archive system, and Good’s RIM remote devices.
- Planned, and implemented PHCS’s corporate desktop faxing solution using Esker’s VSIfax software. Deployed two fax servers (Waltham and Chicago), to provide fault tolerance. System supports 400+ active users, and processes over 18,000 inbound\outbound faxes per month. All aspects teh process was documented, and automated for ease of use.
- Participated in numerous Disaster Recovery simulations at IBMs Business Continuity Centers; recovering, Domain Controllers, File servers, Application servers, and Exchange servers.
- Recovered failed production systems, on IBM/Dell platforms. Including complete system rebuilds, included Domain Controllers, file server, satellite office server, and exchange server. Most notably, a New Orleans Exchange server, lost during hurricane Katrina.
- Participated in PHCS’s $1 Million Data Center redesign by selected Server racking and KVM systems, and deployed teh servers to allow for power fault tolerance power and minimize “heat sinking”.
- Performed several satellite office upgrades, which included configuring new IBM servers wif RSA cards, O/S installation, deploying UPS systems wif management cards, promoting/demoting domain controllers, installing and reconfiguring DNS/DHCP, restored data to teh new server. Updated User systems, and printers.
- Performed windows 2000 to 200 3 server migrations involving 40+ systems, including (File, Fax, SQL, SMS, EPO, Eracent, Print, Domain Controllers, Good, Blackberry servers). Including service pack updates, security patch, and driver updates.
- Installed, configured and supported teh Eracent application, used for teh collection of hardware/software information on all 1200 workstations throughout teh company. dis was teh primary tool used for planning all hardware/software upgrades.
- Installed Domain controller, created user accounts, security/distribution groups, OUs, modified teh AD tree as requested.
- Participated in teh Novell to Windows 2000 migration, involving migrating all data and file share permissions to teh new server, and providing teh necessary mapping to teh new location.
- Reconciliation for four assets management databases to verify they remained in synchronization, to insure teh data was correct, for more accurate decision making purposes.
- Installed and configured a WSUS 2.0 server, for deploying security patches to support all servers.
