- The other Confidential projects included an NIH funded MIDAS - Models for Infectious Disease Agent Study where Confidential subcontracted to RTI (Research Triangle Institute) for providing data management, HW, SW and services. RTI and IBM proposed a joint bid to conduct research on information management for infectious disease, design and develop a database responsive to the needs of the research group.
