Oracle and Cognos 7 Solution Architect and Developer

Responsibilities:

As Solution Architect for the customer master conversion from Oracle’s AR model to the more robust TCA model, designed the roadmap and processes for migrating customers. As Technical Lead on this project, developed interfaces with Dunn and Bradstreet allowing us to cleanse customer master data. The project resulted in the reduction of customer sites from 13,000 to 5,600. This project also allowed MKS to migrate to one Oracle customer model within Oracle, reducing internal training and support needs. Due to the increased cleanliness of the master data, MKS will realize a more efficient order to cash process, increasing customer satisfaction. Additionally, MKS now has reusable conversion programs for future Oracle implementations, saving thousands of dollars in development.
As an Oracle developer, completed several forms personalization enhancements in Oracle 11i eBusiness Suite which were required by Sarbanes Oxley (SOX). These enhancements resulted in a reduction of separation of duties conflicts bringing MKS into SOX compliance in this area.
As Technical Lead for master data conversions during the MKS Oracle implementations, developed several conversion programs covering 13 migrations from 3 disparate legacy systems into Oracle 11i eBusiness Suite. Working with business partners and outsourced developers, created functional designs and approved all technical work completed by outsourced partners. All conversions were completed on time with a success rate of 99% allowing Oracle go-live with minimal master data correction and follow up. Ensured all programs written in a manner to be reused for future implementations.
