• A customized batch process was created to extract sales transactions from Zale’s Sales database and then create RTLOG’s to be imported into RMS using ReSA.
• This project will move the stock ledger and inventory movement functions to RMS.
• My area of assignment was to create several reconciliation jobs to ensure that all inventory movement is being recorded in a timely, accurate and complete manner.
• Two types of reconciliation jobs were necessary, internal and external. Internal reconciliation jobs compare values with RMS to one another.
• For example, extended inventory cost to stock ledger value. External jobs reconcile values between RMS and other systems to ensure inventory and financial interface programs are performing correctly.
