Data Architect

Responsibilities:

• Data warehouse: Created dimensional models using ER/Studio for Employee, Facilities to bring in the data into the data warehouse so that the business could correlate various student/faculty information (Ex.: Counselor tasks) with the corresponding employee information.
• Process design: Designed new process (IRE) for reporting student enrollment counts to external entities that will minimize process/time/maintenance overheads by less than half of the current process. Created process flow, conceptual and logical models for the above process and handed off to the development team.
• Data migration: Designed migration strategy for migrating ‘Alumni’ information from legacy SQL server database to the existing system of record for student information as a result of which the new alumni website always showed the most up to date information. This eliminated synching data between the two systems.
