Confidential required implementation of SAP HCM as they had their company data stored in Non- SAP system and Personnel actions were performed manually. OM, PA, Time Management, ESS MSS of Time Management and Employee benefits was implemented for this company.
Responsibilities:
- I played the role as a techno-functional consultant and also as a lead for the other functional consultants in the project.
- Worked on ABAP programs, BDC programs for the data migration activity: Migration of Employees history data and Org data from Non-SAP system to SAP system.
- PA, OM, TM, ESS MSS of Time Management and Employee benefits configuration and customizing.
- Involved in the full life cycle implementation from blueprinting to post-go- live support for OM and PA, TM module and Employee benefits.
- Participated in number of user meetings which involved study of business processes, gathering and documenting requirements
- Prepared business blueprint for the personnel administration, organization management, Time management module, ESS MSS of Time Management and Employee benefits as per client requirements.
- Involved in Unit testing, Integration testing parallel Testing, Go Live and Continuous support of the project.
- Provided End-user and detailed documentation of the business process flow.
- Generation of offer letters for different bands was done using Smartforms, for the Recruitment module.
Personnel Administration
- Defined enterprise structure to fit company needs including personnel area, personnel sub-area, employee group, employee sub-group, pay scale structure and wage type structure
- Configured User Parameters and the number range intervals for personnel numbers
- Created personnel actions (PA40) as per client requirements and customized the reason for change in personnel actions.
- Defined Info group for Personnel Action, setting up of Action Types and setting up Action Menus
- Involved in the Integration of personnel administration with Organization Management.
Organization Management
- Involved in developing the Organizational Structure, by depicting the department-to-department relationships.
- Maintained and created relationships between organizational units, positions, jobs, and assign cost centers to departments.
- Maintained the number ranges for organizational units.
- Configured custom Evaluation paths
- Involved in integration with the personnel administration using reports (RHINTE00, RHINTE10, RHINTE 20, and RHINTE 30).
- Configuration of Dynamic actions and maintenance of data structures and features
- Used BDC programs and LSMW to upload data from legacy system into SAP system.
Time Management
- Configuration of Time Management- Holiday Calendars, groupings, work timings for different locations, Absence & Attendance types, Counting Rules, Rules for Generating Absence Quotas and Deduction Rules for Absence Quotas, Time types and other time related nodes & worked in Customized Schemas for Annual leave accrual, Accumulation and Comp-offs (using the standard schema TM04).
- Hands on experience in designing Schemas and Personnel calculation rules.
- Configured ESS/ MSS of Time Management in SAP IMG.
- ESS/ MSS of Time Management was implemented by configuration of Workflow processes of Leaves, validations for each leave in clusters and maintenance of user exits and integration with WebDynpro application.
- Involved in back end and front end testing for ESS MSS of TM module.

Confidential had the Organization data and the employee data stored in Non- SAP system (MS Excel). They required implementation of SAP HCM OM, PA, Time Management, Payroll) modules.
Responsibilities:
- I played the role as a techno-functional consultant.

- Interacted with the client for the requirements gathering, understanding the ‘AS IS’ and ‘TO-BE’ business processes, and proposed SAP solutions for the HCM implementation.
- Involved in Blueprint phase, gathered the requirements directly from the client and prepared Blueprint documents, Customer input documents for these modules: Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), Time Management (TM), Travel Management and Personnel Management processes like NMA & SKIP processes, Employee Movements, Employee Separation, Succession planning etc.
- Prepared functional specification documents and explained to the client about the solutions for each of the processes being implemented.

• Maintained Wage Types and their Permissibility over various Infotypes

• Created Payroll Areas to accommodate different pay period, pay frequency and payment dates
• Configured different Basic Pay wage types for different employee groups.
• Wage Types (Payments & Deductions) were created to match all the legacy pay codes.
