- Implemented B2C (Business to Consumer) websites/portals to support our end customer community, and corporate objectives. This included retail parts sales, DIY instructions, Online/Offline expert service guide, access to Service Reps, and Confidential fully customized tool to allow end customers to price our products without having to contact Confidential sales person. Specific attention was paid to international consumers.
- Created Confidential consumer Parts Sales website from scratch using SAP as the backend with Confidential hybris e-commerce front end. Site usage increased 10 fold in the next 12 months.
- Implemented Confidential fully “mobilized” factory using iPads and custom Applications. Every factory resource had their own iPad which is configured for the specific work operations they perform. All applications are tied directly to back end ERP system (SAP). This reduced assembly errors from 29% to fewer than 4% per unit. Standing Inventory reduced 18%, and assembly times reduced by 12%.
- Developed and deployed specific mobile applications, which drove productivity within the global sales and customer service teams, both internally, and within our dealer network. This includes Confidential full sales “lifecycle” management App (Apple/Android) system (simple CRM), to allow Haas to monitor field sales effectiveness through the entire sales process from raw lead sources, to sales, and post sales satisfaction. This allowed us to direct marketing spend to the most effective channels.
- Established the Digital Marketing Department to move Haas away from old school brochures and tradeshow attendance, to fully integrate digital strategies on the web, including social media.
- Eliminated 75% of paper from all departments totally some 10+ million pages annually. Leveraged excessive paper use as an indicator of department inefficiency.
- Deployed world-class business warehouse. It became the go-to source for all business data and executive analysis. This eliminated all stand-alone “islands of excellence” and has the entire management team working on the same information source. This enabled executives to focus on strategic objectives without wondering if their decisions are based on suspect “data”. This turned millions and millions of rows of data (big data), into simple, easy to understand, actionable, information.
