  • designed, developed, tested and documented a custom ABAP addition to the Navy’s SAP Automated Disbursement System interface from conception to fleet delivery.

SAP ABAP Developer/LSMW Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • He was next assigned as an ABAP programmer, analyst and LSMW technical advisor to the California state teacher’s pension agency (CalSTRS), where he wrote many custom ABAP programs and also reviewed custom ABAP programs and documentation developed off-shore prior to turnover for client testing.
  • Next, Confidential designed and wrote interfaces, custom update programs and custom reports at Confidential in Denver, where his focus was the SAP Quality Management (QM) module.
  • He then was selected to attend SAP Mobility programming and was subsequently assigned to a Confidential design team at Westinghouse Nuclear, who were upgrading their warehouse scanner system and integrating it into SAP.

  • Confidential had a dual role in this assignment.
  • He developed and presented ABAP courseware at multiple client sites and provided follow-up coaching for individual programmers on the clients’ staffs.
  • When not involved in teaching duties, Confidential worked as an ABAP programmer and as an LSMW specialist.
  • In this role, he developed the FI, MM and SD master LSMW load routines used to migrate data from stand-alone data systems in over a dozen countries to a single SAP instance in the US.
  • This included replacing hard-coded values and literals in multiple languages and currencies to use SAP’s internal translation utilities.
  • He investigated and repaired anomalies in custom code from multiple vendor sources to comply with Confidential requirements during SAP upgrades.
