Responsibilities:

• Provided workflow design, development, programming and technical support to the system integration test of custom designed and SAP cloned workflow systems including workflow templates, standard tasks, organizational management, standard roles, workflow system settings, business objects, events, methods, and ABAP objects and codes.
• The workflows were for conducting custom business processes that involve CCS-CIC, ISU/CCS, FI-CA, PM, PS, QM, MM, FI, and CO modules. For example: security deposit correspondence, account balance, budget plan, budget billing, collective billing, contract account changes, GIS update, move in, move out, vacancy disconnect, removal of temporary meter, dunning level 4 (non­pay disconnect), technical dunning (non-pay property abandonment), meter read upload from Itron, municipal annexation, service notification, automatic task release, quality notification, quality control, purchase requisition & purchase order approval, capital project review & approval, parked document review & approval, etc... Implemented fixes and modifications of workflow templates, business objects, methods, functions, standard roles, organizational units, and positions to resolve errors. Used HR organizational management transactions to create and maintain ORG objects such as organizational unit, job, position, standard role, evaluation path, etc. that are used in workflow for agent assignment. Used Modification Assistant to modify SAP objects and codes.
• Created and implemented Business Add In to allow protection of custom HR objects during delete and save. Provided technical support for BASIS team in monitoring processes and programs and correcting system and application problems caused by incorrect workflow system configuration and/or faulty program codes. . Established and verified external communications services such as Fax and Internet.
• Developed custom business objects and methods used in the CIC (Customer Interaction Center) for front office processes, custom workflow templates and standard tasks. Used extensively workflow utilities to debug and analyze errors of workflow templates and work items. Created CIC configuration to perform front office business processes using Business Objects, Methods, and Editor Steps that are called by the action box menus. Provide technical leadership in technical architecture and development approach following established standards in light of creating all custom R/3 solutions. Perform QA review on many custom ABAP objects and approve them for transport into QA system with emphasis on sound technical architecture, and proper development methodology and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Worked closely with users and functional analysts to produce the functional/technical specifications on many ISU/CCS custom business processes. Designed and developed custom dialog applications, interfaces, function modules, BAPIs, methods to be used in implementing the customer business processes for SAP ISU/CCS, ISU-IDE, and FI-CA. Major development in SAP 4.6C environment involved custom applications hooked to the CIC (Customer Interaction Center). Designed and developed many custom dialog programs to perform Reliant custom business processes at the front office and hooked them to the CIC. Codes and objects were to create Business Partner, Credit Refund, Move Out, Invoice Language, Alternate Invoice & Dunning Recipient, Duplicate Invoice & Dunning Request, Contact Log, Installation Facts, Billing Block, Referral to Billing Analysts or Contract Management, Maps for MRUs with Portions, custom screen to process selected SUER records (enrollment and switch). In the back office, using IDE functionality of sending and receiving consumption data, billing data and payment advice notes designed and developed custom IDOC types (i.e. 810, 814, 820, 824, 650, etc.) and EDI transactions for EDI communication (Texas Set 1.4 for utility deregulation) to the customer partners. In addition the 650 is integrated with CCS Disconnect/Reconnect and SM Service Notification as well as internal IDOC/EDI tracking systems. Created custom ISU/CCS and PM business objects and methods to be used as the standard tasks of the ISU/CCS Front Office and CIC Workflow System.
• Performed customizing settings for IDE Communication Control including service types, service providers, processing events, activating processing events and custom function modules for processing events. Researched Energy Data Management (ISU-EDM) functionality considering the conversion and migration of the Loadstar system into SAP ISU-EDM including Energy Data Repository, Settlement Workbench, Implementation of reusable, new and derived Settlement Steps, Calculation Workbench, Billing, IDE integration of EDM. Workflow and Internet Access Components.
• Designed and developed custom workflow template to catch errors during PM/SM order creation and transmission to the MDSI Advantex system (Mobile Data System) and to provide remedial actions via work items in the appropriate user inboxes. Created custom business objects, functions, and methods to be used in creating standard tasks. These were used as the steps in the custom workflow templates. Defined and created triggering events. Assigned users to positions and defined custom organizational plans, positions, and roles to be used in routing the work items to the appropriate personnel members of the customer organization. Performed workflow system administration including system configuration for workflow runtime and development system. Established and verified external communications services such as Fax and Internet.
• Designed and developed the real time Mobile Data Interface to seamlessly communicate bi-directional between SAP PM/SM work order management to MDSI Advantex system. Provided technical leadership to ESD team (Energy Service Delivery: PM/SM, PS), FI, CO, MM and CCS (IS Utilities) team by participating in the functional, technical design and co-development of SAP custom programs, enhancements and interfaces.
• Had good understandings of CCS data objects like Device, Point of Delivery (POD), Connection Object, Premise, Installation, Business Partner, Contract and Contract Account (FI-CA). Worked closely with the functional team and users to come up and finalize the functional specifications for all custom business processes and then designed and developed ABAP codes and objects to meet the functional requirements.
• Developed data conversion programs to load equipment, functional locations, code catalogs, BOM, equipment BOM, and equipment hierarchy. Mapped external project system (Primervera) into SAP PS module including project structure, WBS elements, network relationships and activities. Designed and developed custom dialog programs to maintain FERC code. Developed custom SAP transaction and web- enabled it to allow the end users creating the service notification from the web browser. Developed custom codes via PM/SM user exit to accommodate new user defined fields for SAP ISU/CCS implementation. Researched PM data in support of geospatial data integration of SAP PM with ESRI to ESRI team.
• Archived and deleted unwanted master and transactional data using transaction SARA and related archiving objects of PM (functional locations, equipment, service order, etc.) and CCS (meter reading results, billing documents, print documents, etc.). Performed customizing settings for archiving. Developed objects and methods to access and display Mobius’s image files (CCS customer bills) via Front Office process in Customer Interaction Center (CIC).
• Performed customizing SAP DMS settings for document type, status, status network. Defined logical path and logical file name. Linked technical manuals and drawings files to equipment master - developed programs to create document master records and link document numbers to corresponding equipment master records. • Defined what need to be done to upgrade all PM/SM custom developments to SAP version 4.6. SAP R/3 environments included FI, MM, PM/SM, PS, ISU/CCS, HR modules, IBM Mainframe, UNIX, DB2 RDBMS, Oracle DBMS, Window NT 4.0, and Window 98.
