BH has been operating on a SAP system for many years with most of their processes still being in their infancy. Project related accounting is becoming more important to large organizations and the ability to track cost related to this are gaining more attention.
  • I was contracted to develop and demo a solution that allowed BH to flow cost down to the project that based on BH’s data flow was originally posted in Profitability Analysis. I had to evaluate the characteristics to isolate the items that need to flow to the project.
  • I also had to ensure that the project when posted didn’t settle back into COPA to be recognized twice. I also developed a set of procedures for the tracking of ongoing cost related to projects that could be divided among project related activities. This included the ability to force indirect cost to the project based on basic costing solutions.

  • Confidential is an emerging leader in the pharmaceutical industry. Alexion has several SAP projects working now but I was brought on to work on a backlog of support issues and was the FICO resource for an e-requisition project.
  • In line with the production support backlog items I created and configured a company code to be used as a service center in India. The company will operate under the accounting principles governed by India and will utilize the Indian Rupee as the local currency. I also implemented the tax procedure “TAXINN” for India which is the recommended procedure using condition types and not jurisdiction codes.
  • I recommended several solutions for Alexion but I also designed a solution in conjunction with e-req. that will help streamline the procurement of Capital assets using internal orders as investment measures.
  • To accomplish this I created a non-statistical internal order type that will create the AUC and capture cost to the AUC during the period that the project was ongoing. This will then allow Alexion to settle the cost of the AUC to one or many assets related to the project.
  • During my time at Alexion I received my Phase 11 certification for compliance as it relates to development and documentation in a pharmaceutical regulated environment.

  • I was engaged by Bokanyi to help solidify the project and work it through go live and post go live support. Most of my focus has been around the best practice processes in the FI area that included banking and other core processes.
  • I also have been working with the other teams on the integration of data into the finance module and external organizations utilizing EDI and Bank integration tools.
  • Confidential is a financial services company that manages payables for major corporations. Confidential is headquartered in Minneapolis, MN with domestic operations also in Naperville, IL and Memphis, TN.
