Summary of functions and main activities:

Ensure with strong coordination with Functional Support Team (level 2) (Paris or Pau) and UNISUP Affiliate Support (Coordinator, Lead Users, Helpdesk - level 1), of the responsibility on all technical tasks related to SAP systems ; this must cover at least for all SAP/R3, BW, EBP, Requisite, (…) on production and pre-production systems, the following activities :

Daily production and monitoring tasks: jobs scheduling, system monitoring, logs, back-up, restoration, Incident / problem management,
Interface monitoring and administration (standards and specifics)
Database Oracle monitoring and administration: Tablespace’s monitoring and management, Tuning (index, buffers, technical parameters), Database incident and problem management…
Server management
Hardware and technical infrastructure survey, monitoring, installation and troubleshooting,
Operating System installation, monitoring and upgrade,
System incident and problem management
Specific operation on SAP/R3, BW, EBP systems:
OSS notes and support pack application,
Transport Order’s Management,
Users’ management and allocation of authorisation to the users (remark: profiles creation / modification are strictly out of scope),
Clients copies and Client management,
Production procedure application,
Scheduling and realisation of manual operation on SAP systems: reboots, backups, interfaces…,
Scheduling and monitoring of batch jobs,
Printers and spool management in SAP environment,
Implementation and monitoring of backup and restoration strategies and operations,
Monitoring of BW infocubes loading and monitoring of all interfaces between R/3 et BW,
Creation and management of technical dashboard (interventions, performances, incidents, availability),
Assistance to level 1 Affiliate support in updating some Tables as requested by Affiliate procedures and Métiers (e.g. catalog update in Requisite).
Management of all tools used for SAP systems current utilisation (e.g. Networker, ..),
Permanent update of technical documentation,
System Security in coordination with RSSI and IT Manager,
Quality management contribution within SLA with Support Level 2 and Competence Centre ,
Management of specific Affiliate’s environment around SAP,
Contribution in Disaster Recovery Plan definition, test and activation.
