In support of an AT&T contract: Production support work in conjunction wif systems administration duties on a HP 9000 T500, HP-UX 10.01 based ordering platform.
Duties included all facets of systems administration and production support. Teh Graphical User Interface (GUI) ordering system is based on a 3 tier design, utilizing Tuxedo servers and DecMessageQ (DMQ32B) as teh messaging transport running on teh second and third tier.
Tier 3 platform housed teh Oracle database. Teh production support role included problem identification and resolution, system documentation, database queries and rebuilds, software ships, log monitoring, user & system interface issues and change control management. Relief SA was also part of my responsibilities.
