Data Conversion Lead Resume

SUMMARY

This individual will manage and support all functional activities associated with the delivery of an assigned project’s data conversion activities including updates to data conversion documentation, the development of end - to-end data migration test plans and test scripts (including testing for data extraction, transformation, data loading, and data validation), and the design and delivery of data quality monitoring and reporting.
Act as primary point of contact for all ongoing affiliated projects influencing the design of assigned objects. Responsible for the alignment of all ongoing conversion efforts between affiliated projects.
Act as the Data Conversion Team Lead during peaks of high volume work including:
Represent Data Conversion during leadership meetings and stand-ups
Generate and delivers required status reports
Act as mentor and coach for data conversion analysts
Lead and manage all onboarding activities including technical team members, new project resources and new Data Conversion Team members.
Partner and collaborate with business project Data Conversion Lead to identify, onboard and manage the Data Readiness Network.
Participate in and support end user training for SAP Data Conversion tools (e.g. Information Steward) and data conversion processes (e.g. Mock data load validation activities).
Provide technical / functional subject matter expertise and technical / functional clarification for SAP data objects and configuration in support of design sessions with related Process Teams to confirm functionality-driven data standards.
Contribute and influence key data conversion design decisions
Assist with the identification and coordination of client’s IS legacy system owners and subject matter experts to identify data migration, field mapping, and transformation design requirements for all assigned data objects
Provide knowledge transfer and historical context of prior data conversion design decisions to implementation partner.
Provide conversion governance and final signature approval for all Data Conversion documentation for each data object they are aligned to.
Recommend and establish standards for data conversion methodology and documentation, continuously evaluating and driving measurable improvements to processes, platforms, tools, and related technologies; provide necessary trainings to communicate changes and measure outcomes.
Participate in forming long term technical vision for data conversion platforms and the data conversion team.
