| Confidential Role: Project involved Wholesale and Retail Supply focusing on Planning and Budgeting, Procurement, Order Fulfillment and Inventory Management . Responsibilities included technical specification development and review, level of effort estimation, coding, mentoring junior associates, code reviews, unit testing, additional RFC's Request For Change for objects, and also resolved reported defects for objects through various phases of the testing cycles. A Tiger Team approach was taken to attack major issues that kept the client from functioning normally on a day-to-day basis. Generated reports, queries, and data extracts as necessary for the team to use in their analysis of issues, and provided any other assistance that the client needed mainly the IT department . Some of the various tasks completed were: created reports necessary for the team to reconcile the GR/IR account and CATS posting errors, assisted with issues resulting from a production copy to other environments, documented and trained the IT staff on their purchase requisition workflow process, created a custom sales use tax report that eliminated the need for the users to spend time gathering data and then enter into a very detailed spreadsheet, helped the IT staff to troubleshoot issues as they arose, copied master data from their production system to their development system through ALE cost center groups, cost centers, classes, characteristics, and classifications , and held 3 workshops for the programmers to help them with some basic ABAP skills and other SAP functionality. A custom ABAP translation program was developed to translate an inbound 820 transaction set to a standard SAP IDoc format FINSTA01 . Within this program, extensive document lookup logic was written to determine the SAP document to post against based on information given by the customer on the 820. Also responsible for the set-up of the entire EDI configuration for this project ports, partner profiles, etc. , created several FI substitution rules to handle certain business requirements some with user exits , and was heavily involved in all aspects of testing. Technical Environment: SAP 4.6C Confidential Role: Tulsa ABAP team lead for a SAP system split and upgrade project 4.6C to ECC 5.0 . All modules of SAP were targeted, but the focus was on SD, MM, and FI. The client had a shared production environment across multiple companies in version 4.6C. The project was to create a new dedicated production environment for the client by splitting it from the current shared environment and upgrading it to ECC 5.0. A concurrent enhancement project for the client was also being done in another 4.6C system, and those objects were moved and retrofitted to the ECC 5.0 environment.
