  • SRM - MDM data console, import manager and data manager
  • ECC 6.0 EHP5, PI, Workflow, Enterprise Portal and SAP SRM 7.0 EHP1 (our EPH versions have been upgraded)
  • Other than knowledge of various functionalities in SRM system and its related processes in ECC and the ability to work effectively with offshore resources
  • Interacting effectively with developers, EAI specialists (middleware), business users, other analysts
  • Taking ownership of assigned activities and actively pursuing them to completion
  • Following Organization specific guidelines to minimize disruption of solution implementation/incident resolution process (example: SOM, QC, ChaRM)
  • Understanding how SAP applications are upgraded, resolving issues arising out of upgrades, resolving collision of transports or logic when multiple incidents/enhancements use the same common objects
  • Understanding the common configuration objects between ECC and SRM and resolving issues quickly when they are out of sync

Not needed but OK to have: Technical analyst - SAP Portal, ABAP, workflow, WebDynPro for ABAP, smart forms, BW Query, PI, SAP scripts.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently analyzing the causes for the issue including gathering information from various sources within Organization and on the internet as well as the ability to debug (if there is no debug experience, the analyst should be able to work with developers to understand the logic of development objects)
  • Independently working with SAP support to resolve incidents
  • Independently design and propose simple yet effective long term viable solution for given requirements (including minor enhancements, but no project work)
