  • Process gathering: Worked with our client to gather the requirements for an electronic timekeeping system. Once requirements were vetted, they were given to our systems group who built the timekeeping system.

  • Process Lead: Lead a team that worked with the Procurement department and Subcontracts department to map out current business process so they could be translated into SAP (R3) /SRM roles. All process / roles were mapped into MS Visio. Once requirements were gathered, I created a project plan using MS Project.

The Purchase Order forms for Kuwait had to print with three decimal places and round on the third decimal place instead of the second as in the United States
  • Portal: Helped setup a Portal Page for the user community. The page allowed the users to download training materials, read FAQ’s, request support and see when schedule maintenance would be performed.

  • Evaluated network speed and created a presentation to upper management showing the benefits that we would achieve by upgrading our network backbone to fiber optics. Once approved and upgraded, the network speed increased by 98% allowing some departments to downsize. The increase network speed increased the productivity which in turn saved the company money since the number of people to input the data was now less. All three jobs sites within the Kosovo region to include Macedonia were upgraded to fiber optics.
  • Setup a Microwave shot between the KBR Support office in Ferizaj Kosovo and Camp Bondsteel. This shot allowed the users at Camp Bondsteel access to the entire LAN. The shot also allowed the IT technician at the support office access to remotely troubleshot the BDC/Print server at Camp Bondsteel
  • Responsible for LAN/WAN connections within the Kosovo region to include Macedonia. The WAN was part Balkan domain that was connected to the KBR Global domain.
  • Application Support: Provided support throughout the Balkans for a Procurement application (POLOG) and an Inventory Control application (ICS).
  • Server Administration: Responsible for four Windows servers, one BDC, one Exchange Server, one Print Server and one File server.

IT Technical Analyst / Master Data Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Application Support: Provided technical support to all KBR Balkan offices for three company built application that were used by the Procurement, Material Controls, and Issue and receiving departments. The application were as follows:
  • POLOG - Purchasing / Subcontract system that was used by all KBR Government service offices
  • MTS - Material tracking system that was used to track purchased material from the States to their final destination with the Balkan theater.
  • ICS - Inventor control system that was used to receive, issue and track on hand inventory
  • Master Data: Managed a group of three individual who were responsible for all Procurement Master Data throughout the Balkans and Houston. The Master Data included boiler plates, new vendor entry, new user entry, and new material catalog descriptions.
  • Network Administration: Worked with a team that created, setup, and deployed a Balkan Domain by consolidating three smaller domains into one large domain. The creation of the Balkan Domain allowed for the KBR Corporate office to create a trust relationship which in turn provides access to the corporate environment.

Data Base Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Application Support: Provide application support for two company created Procurement / Material Control applications
  • Requirements Gathering: Worked with Warehouse managers in the Balkans to gather requirements for an inventory control system that would be used to receive, issue and inventory materials
  • Application Development: Worked with programmer to develop an Inventory control application. This application was deployed to the Balkans and used at all locations. The application provided the project with a means of cross leveling materials which in turn saved them money by not having to buy materials that we already in country. Once application was fully developed, I transferred to Bosnia to deploy and administer the application.
