SUMMARY
- The SAP Security Architect’s role is to design, implement, and test policies and controls for user access within the company’s SAP environment.
- This position will interact with Information Technology (IT) staff, business process owners and auditors to ensure information security is in compliance with the company’s security policies.
- At least five years of security experience in SAP ECC, BI, Solution Manager, CUA, and a combination of XI/PI
- At least two years of experience in HCM security design
- Completion of a full lifecycle SAP security implementation
- General knowledge of business processes within finance, sales and manufacturing
- In - depth understanding of role-based access security controls
- Experience with SAP focused audits and risk assessments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate security concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal teams, external consultants, and vendors
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Information security and/or SAP professional certification(s) preferred
- Experience with BPC security controls design and implementation preferred
- Vistex application security controls design and implementation experience preferred
- Experience with Business Objects preferred
- Segregation of duties, remediation and/or GRC experience preferred
- ChaRM and ITSM experience is a plus preferred

SAP Security ArchitectResponsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate the security controls used to protect company data.
- Work with business teams to develop, implement, and improve on existing security controls.
- Develop and maintain authorization process design and related documentation for SAP.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for SAP security.
- Respond rapidly to requests requiring security control changes.
- Maintain current knowledge regarding security and compliance standards.
- Design, build, implement and support SAP security roles and profiles to all SAP environments ensuring appropriate safeguards are in place.
- Translate functional requirements into the technical design for SAP security roles.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute operational administration of user provisioning and de - provisioning, password management, and other activities.
- Facilitate security testing (positive and negative) for security roles as well as integration testing of security access.

- Ensure confidentiality of proprietary information; adhere to company security policies.
