Concurrent System

Developed parallel algorithms with console applications in VS 2010 C#. The algorithms were finding largest prime, and sorting algorithms. The main project was to create the Parallel Sort by Random Sampling(PSRS). This algorithm was to be able to sort a large array of random numbers using a sequential version of Quicksort and divide and conquer.

Human Machine Interfaces

Developed web applications in VS 2010 C# ASP.Net. The main project was creating an online store that you would be able to add items to a cart, go to the checkout page and purchase items. SQL Server 2008 R2 was the DBMS I used to hold the amount of items the price of the items, pictures of the items that were then displayed on the web application. These web applications were uploaded to a server using IIS7 instead of using the loop back IP address 127.0.0.1.

Android Application - JAVA

Using eclipse and the android emulator I created a pill identification program. A person could enter the shape or inscription on the pill and the color of the pill and the database would search for a pill that matched those identifiers.

Senior Practicum

Developed a web application in VS2010 C# ASP.Net. The project my team created was an online office hour application for professors used by students. The idea was to make this mirror what one would find on a professor\'s door to sign up for office hours (date, time, reason). The Professors would register themselves and their school. They would use a template page to create what office hours they had available. When a student selects what school they are from and what professor they would like to see, the professor\'s available hours would display. Students would select which hour they preferred in the table of available hours and sign up to see the professor. To develop this application we used agile methodolgy with two week interations and daily scrums.
