Senior Web Developer

  • Cleaver-Brooks is a complete boiler room solutions provider. It develops hot water and steam generation products aimed at integrating and optimizing the total boiler/burner/controls system to maximize energy efficiency and reliability while minimizing emissions.
  • Developed, supported, and enhanced ASP.NET, Classic ASP web applications. These applications interfaced with IFS (an Oracle based ERP system). The web support team consisted of two (2) developers who were responsible for a dozen (12) web sites. The responsibilities included application development as well as database design/maintenance and query optimization.
  • Personally developed an Aftermarket application allowing spare/replacement parts to be ordered by the customer base. This application generated twenty-five (25) million dollars of revenue per year. Also, created a Call Center application which enabled the creation of an organizational call center. Was instrumental in starting the TFS implementation within the organization. Upgraded the Microsoft SQL Server from version 2008 to 2012 and am in the process of upgrading to 2016.

  • Converted an Access application to an ASP.NET/SQL Server web based application. This was a multi-stepped conversion; firstly the application was converted to a WinForm application. The interface/business logic was upgraded to .NET/C# from VBA. The database was upgrade to SQL Server 2005. Secondly, WinForm application was upgraded to a ASP.NET/C# application. The database was upgrade to SQL Server 2008.
  • Developed a “Scheduling Application” replacing a paper based system. This system allow the scheduling of clinicians amongst the four (4) child testing rooms. The application populates a “Microsoft Outlook” emulation control allowing the organization to visualize room usage/clinician time allocation. The development environment was Visual Studio 2010/SQL Server 2008/C#. Was responsible for the full product life cycle of this development. Database creation and performance tuning was a critical element of this development project.
