• Designed, coded and tested a Confidential background task application to receive and process the AS/400-based Equipment Repair System’s piece-part inventory transactions to the mainframe Vision inventory system using COBOL, DB2 and Confidential . DB2 was used with COBOL instead of the Assembler-based Background Task Control Subsystem ( Confidential ). Rejected transactions were returned to the AS/400 for error correction.
• Used Confidential, DB2 and COBOL to customize American Software’s inventory package so it could be put into production as Confidential Supply’s new Vision inventory system.
• Used Confidential, DB2, VSAM, COBOL and Assembler to perform maintenance on Telephone Operations’ Confidential inventory system.
• Designed, coded and tested the main bill print COBOL program as part of the effort to print completely new bills on a special form on Confidential ’s 3800 page printer. This was for the Separate Subsidiary Billing (SSB) system used by Confidential 's non-regulated customers.
• Designed, coded and tested COBOL and Assembler programs to create the Synergy data warehouse for the Vision and Confidential inventory projects.
• Designed, coded and tested the COBOL programs to load legacy inventory balance information into the new SAP system. Coded and demonstrated the use of SAP's Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW) enhanced with ABAP to load material master information into SAP.
• Wrote an Assembler subprogram to randomly read the Confidential Corporate Code Buyer Table for Confidential ’s Report Distribution and Control System (RDACS).
• Designed, coded and tested a new Endevor turnover system for the former Bell Atlantic's MMIS & CAPRI inventory systems. This system was written in Dialog Manager and REXX.
