Resolved security issue by preventing individuals from indiscriminately submitting the form through the location bar, thereby by-passing client side validation. By initially setting a hidden form element to false, and changing its value to true only when the submit button is clicked, the PHP processing script could determine whether to process the application, or redirect the user to the home page.
  • For Rawlings Creative, developed new functionality with ASP.net that permitted customers to upload files to the server and notified the webmaster via email the time, date and names of files sent.
  • For Brecher’s Lighting web site, utilizing ASP, added new functionality to contact page, so that information collected was directly written to an Access database and made viewable by administrative staff .
  • For Scent of Kentucky, assisted in setting up eCommerce page so that it connects to PayPal. Also developed JavaScript function that subtotals selections prior to adding them to shopping cart.

For Confidential, developed new UIs (gathered requirements, designed—both front and back end, coded, tested, debugged, documented, and implemented), daily troubleshot web-related or database problems, and submitted new project proposal estimates.
  • Developed new home page UI/UX for Confidential with Visual InterDev 6.0, Photoshop, Fireworks and Flash.
  • For Confidential ’s new Agent’s Choice Program, utilized ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, SQL, HTML and a stored procedure to develop a new UI, which allowed travel agents to view the number of days until their free trial is up, and enabling them to change their enrollment after the free trial expired. Their selection automatically updated the database, eliminating the need for administrative involvement.
  • For the Agent’s Choice Program, created four random, animated banner ads in Fireworks and ImageReady to encourage users on the basic plan to upgrade to the advanced reporting program.
