- Locomotive Inventory And Availability - Provides locomotive management personnel with a running inventory of locomotives on the railroad Information concerning the transfer of locomotives in and out of shops/storage and the arrival at the service center is utilized for automatic update of the locomotive status and inventory.
- Locomotive Tracking - Enables locomotive managers to track locomotives across the system providing current status, location and current train tonnage and length (for assigned locomotives). Locomotive tracking is accomplished using AEI (Automatic Equipment Identification), GPS (Global Positioning Satellite), and train movements/events provided by other Confidential systems.
- Locomotive Power & Assignment - Using a display of power available at a location on the Locomotive Management Workstation, a locomotive can be assigned or planned to a train, assigned to division service, or flagged as being shopped or stored. Locomotive planned assignments are executed using events from AEI (raw reads), AEI/Work Orders, GPS, Crew calls, and train departures.
