Responsibilities:

Maintained and optimized previously written code in VB.Net, SQL, and VB6, used Spiceworks for bug/issue tracking and distribute the fixes. Built and integrated new functionality into the production site that was written in ASP.Net, and desktop application that was written in VB6. Maintained the new version of the production site, using bootstrap for a responsive design to keep inline with changes made by the other developers in the older system. Worked with product managers to utilize sprints for development, testing, QA and finally release. Worked on VB to C# conversion of tools and software for our internal use, with a plan to convert all VB to C# for our production code. Developed the new Partner Portal inside of Kentico with custom C# based API calls to our Keys system to completely separate our portal from GFI and to offer a better experience to our customers for seeing their data. Recently redesigned our VIPRE and corporate site to be responsive and bring a better user experience for our users and visitors. Tied in API’s from the product to our site, for seamless transitions for transactional purposes. Custom logging of all data in and out of the website, including bad data feed in through the API’s. Originally started off with working on one site, Confidential which was originally in Cold Fusion, and was tasked with updating/maintaining/creating SEO, Promotional pages, and web pages. Entire system was originally coded in ColdFusion. Was pulled over into the main GFI team and was responsible for updates to the GFI site, which was in classic ASP at the time, creating landing pages, interactive calculators, and working with other developers on tasks to meet deadlines as well as my normal duties for VIPRE. Maintained and updated Smart Leads, our home grown lead processing script, which fed into SalesForce. Majority of my time was spent on front end development, as none of my projects were back end related.
