SUMMARY

I ’m the one on the left in the photo I’ve conveniently inserted to the left.
On the right is my daughter.
She does not know I am using her image to enhance my professional resume, but she also does not pay the bills—I do.
Anyways, I have been building websites since web developers were called "web masters,’’ tables and frames were just how it was done, and CSS was the new ' ~ hot acronym. I have survived all versions of IE without leaping out a window.
I have slept under desks in offices in order to meet deadlines.
I’ve appeased the craziest client’s wackiest demands.
I missed my brother’s wedding because a big project I was working on was launching that week and the entire company was counting on me.
I like aesthetics. I like organization. I like a job well done. I like learning. I like being the first one in the office the day after the company holiday party and asking everyone how they are feeling.

I founded Confidential after moving to Michigan in 2016.
Projects have included Magento site overhauls, microsites, consulting, and complex MVC-based, CMS-driven sites.
I have my own CMS framework that is built on top of CakePHP and Backbone.js.

SENIOR DEVELOPER

Responsibilities:

Confidential hired me as a freelancer for a few days to put out a fire on a time-sensitive project.
One week later they offered me a full-time position as their senior developer.
I spent a year mentoring their development team on everything from HTML5 banner ads, to HTML emails, to a variety of dynamic web-based applications.
Additionally, I built a client-facing asset management/preview system that helped streamline the approval process for the creative team.

At Confidential, I worked closely with the creative team to brainstorm and develop projects for clients with big ideas and tight deadlines.
Projects varied from full websites to specialized dynamic web applications.
Most of the clients were in the live entertainment industry, particularly Broadway.

Confidential hired me to rebuild their website and work full-time as their webmaster.
I left the company in 2009 when I moved to NYC.
Over the years I’ve worked on countless websites and web applications.
I’ve seen many trends come and go, and with each came a wave of invaluable growth and experience.
