Responsibilities:

The position had two focuses the first was extending existing fields in a web UI to query multiple Active Directory fields.
An example would be taking the phone number field and extending it to search over the Active Directory fields for home phone, cell phone, work phone, fax, and so on.
The second was integrating their email addresses and distribution list with the email service Poppulo.

Responsibilities:

I was brought in to help finish up with a major release, mainly bug fixes, standardization of interface, and optimization of the application.
Concurrently I worked on a proof of concept of SSRS 2017 on SQL 2012, to replace their current reporting tool.
This was an A-Z proof of concept, including setting up the service / database, setting up roles, schedules, converting some of their current reports to this format, and integrating it into the application itself.

Evolved and maintained the commission engine that generated weekly and monthly payouts to consultants.
The process encompassed using the electrical meter data, signoffs from financial, to the printing of checks or direct deposit.
This included interfacing and creating API methods mainly as microservices, with other departments.
Documented full code/ SQL trace, as well as documenting application and business rules.
Greatly improved both computation time (from 12 hours to 30 minutes) and business turnaround time (from 1 week to 1 day).
Modified design structure from a blackboard pattern to a microservices pattern. Most importantly a payout was never missed.
