  • Development and implementation of Financial Performance Report system consisting of a public Web interface for credit unions and an intranet version on Agency’s SharePoint site to submit requests to get FPRs.
  • Development of a Windows Service to process FPRs immediately after the submission of quarterly financial statement by credit unions.
  • The reporting template was an Excel workbook (19 pages) created on the fly and was emailed to the requester.
  • The online version of FPR (2 pages) were extracted on the fly through stored-procedures passed to the website through FPR Web Service.
  • Implementation of aggregated FPR to enable NCUA program officers to monitor user-defined groups of credit unions for mergers and overall performance in defining and proposing special programs. The aggregated FPR takes advantage of a high performance SQL-side process to aggregate financial data and calculate over 160 financial ratios, calculated on the fly via formulas created in Excel cells.
  • Implemented validated/non-validated data screening based on the IP Add of the requester.
  • Implementation of CGI (VB6.0) and ColdFusion (v8.0, upgraded to v9.0) programming to generate web based reporting application for credit unions and public to view financial data based on criteria provided on public Web interface.

  • Design, analysis and development of ACTUR system( a national automated cancer tumour registry system used by military hospitals) for tracking tumor of cancer patients.
  • Visual Basic 4.0, MS Access and SQL server 6.5. were used to develop this program.

  • I played a major role from design to implementation.
  • Experience includes development of socket programs and OLE Automation servers in Visual Basic, Class modules using Booch methodology, GUI design and report generation (Included standard and adhoc reports) using Crystal reports. OLE servers included a) Server to connect to the mainframe SQL server database through IBM CICS region listener and AION knowledge base, using Windows sockets.
  • The data is passed back and forth in a flat file format (transfer records).
  • The data is further parsed into objects at the client end. b) Server to connect to the SQL server database through ODBC and SQL*Net and execute a variety of SQL statements.
