- CSM mainly aims for migration of Pre-existing excel based models to CSM platform using Rules frame work. Based on combination of business rules, inputs and outputs required to derive cost/price etc. For example, client has excel based cost models that derives cost of each product based on requirements aims for custom deal. - Cost Engine is the runtime for Rules Framework. Cost Engine consumes the Model created by the Inference Engine and then will dynamically decide which XML based Model to run based on the xml request that is being sent to the Cost Engine. It will load the Model and execute it and format the output as per the output schema defined by the Inference Engine and send it as response.
