- Commercial customers and clearing houses would batch enrollments into EDI X12 834 enrollment interchanges.
- My work consisted of coding and testing several maps that translate these interchanges into flat files that feed into backend mainframe applications such as NASCO and VEBA.
- Designed new maps and XML schemas that reproduced the 835 payment reports that were currently being generated on the mainframe.
- The maps were called by message flows from IBM Websphere Message Broker which ran on Z Linux.
