I automated the morning batch of reports. my colleagues manually generated reports by running SQL queries and executing macros in Microsoft Access databases.
As soon as we had a new online database, I wrote PowerShell scripts that were scheduled to run in the morning.
These scripts ran reports, updated database tables and alerted the team if one the tables in the Snowflake database had not been updated.
I replaced Microsoft Access macros and Oracle SQL scripts with Excel macros that queried views in the Snowflake database.
I replaced PowerShell scripts with Python scripts and wrote new reports in Python.
Confidential has used this report to cancel millions of dollars of purchase orders.
The Daily Outs Report shows the service level, how completely customer sales orders are filled.
This report was made when the Executive Leadership Team made improving service level a key performance indicator that factored into employees’ annual bonuses.
This report auto populates the root causes of shortages and carries over user input to the following day’s reports.
The Buyer Inventory Tool enables buyers to see on hand, on order, excess, aging, expiring, discontinued and fresh to frozen inventory in one single worksheet.
The SKU Count Tableau dashboard that tracks how much of a warehouse’s composition is exclusive brand versus manufacturing brand. The exclusive brand penetration is another key performance indicator because the exclusive brands are more profitable.
I was selected to be on a team that picked a Insights and Analytics’ metadata tool. I curated the database for the inventory forecasting tool. I introduced automatic titling to the team.
When the Logistics Team needed to split a large file into over seven hundred emails, I guided them in assembling an Alteryx workflow that quickly accomplished this task and saved hours of manual work.

Commercial customers and clearing houses would batch enrollments into EDI X12 834 enrollment interchanges.
My work consisted of coding and testing several maps that translate these interchanges into flat files that feed into backend mainframe applications such as NASCO and VEBA.
Designed new maps and XML schemas that reproduced the 835 payment reports that were currently being generated on the mainframe.
The maps were called by message flows from IBM Websphere Message Broker which ran on Z Linux.

Responsibilities:

My job was to design, code and thoroughly unit test WTX maps and Oracle stored procedures that process 5010 request transactions, interface with the adjudication system and generate 5010 responses. Initially brought in strictly for BCCP, my work also included building maps for CSHCS and HIV including maps that support NCPDP pharmaceutical transactions.
I created Visio flowcharts that illustrated the life cycle of a claim from the medical provider to the payer to the adjudicator and back.
My detailed data maps were made in Microsoft Excel.
After unit testing I created the test cases for the business analyst.
