Web and Graphic Designer
Responsibilities:
- Designed the UX for the process to enroll existing and new customers in Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Conceptualized the UX flows from the purchase of the plan to a possible change in payment option in the future for both direct and agent sales. Created low and high fidelity mock ups for presentation to the product team, GEICO and the development team.
- Conceptualized and designed the entire UX for the project working collaboratively with the marketing and account management teams. In an effort to retain and grow the existing user base, changes and enhancements were made to the website to improve user experience and make the site more visually appealing. Existing emails were designed to match up to industry standards and increase the viewing and response rates for the emails.
- Headed the UX solution and design for the implementation of 2 new services from TransUnion. Complete user flows were conceived, designed and presented to the business for the Notifications Only and Digital Verification services. These services were developed and are now live.
- In an effort to make the onboarding process for the different clients a smoother process, successfully conceived and designed a solution to help with the issue of different client logo sizes.
- Conceived, designed and created a responsive prototype in Axure for a portal that can be used by the non - technical Account Management team and their business partners. The portal will serve as a repository to share and update account information. Though the initial requirement for the portal came from the business to be used by only one department in the company, the portal is now being developed to be used for 3 sub-companies of the GGA group.
- Led the UX, design and functionality changes for this time sensitive project. Business changed the credit reporting tool to the VantageScore. Changes were needed across all sections of the credit section. Specs for the changes were created for responsive layouts.
- To help address the biggest pain point for the Sales team and solve for the inability of the user to find and enter the promo code on the site, I conceived and designed a complete revision of the purchase payment process. There were changes made to the site to accommodate the option of allowing marketing promotional prices to be reflected to the user and provide visibility to the user to see the price differences. This solution was greatly welcomed by not only the internal Sales team but also the partnering clients.
- To address the biggest item on the business road map - making the site more secure I created and mocked up low and high fidelity UX flows to develop 2 Factor Authentication on the portal.
- Proactively led the effort to introduce the user testing tool to the company. Was elementary in setting up this service for the product team so that existing and new features can be tested at regular intervals and iterations to the design and functionality made to achieve optimal user satisfaction. Designed quarterly tests to be conducted on different features on the site. Prepared and documented user feedback and created positive and negative user feedback reels to share at product and marketing meetings.
- Led the design effort to move the existing non-responsive and non-enticing product communications to be responsive and more appealing to the users. This was a big step towards customer retention and partner acquisition goals of the company.
- Sketched out the user experience and created low and high fidelity mock ups to outline the repurchase flow on the site. This was an important development as there was no ability for the user to repurchase on the site itself and had to call into the customer service center to repurchase a policy.
- Introduction of breadcrumb navigation
- Visual design fundamentals laid down to specify use of color for messaging
- Visual design fundamentals laid down for font sizes across the site
- Uniformity in the behavior of similar elements across the site, e.g. links, CTA buttons
