Remedy Developer Administrator

Responsibilities:

Experience and knowledge in development and customization of BMC Remedy Action Request System (7.x, 8.x, and 9.x) and ITSM suite.
Experience and knowledge on the Digital Workplace (MyIT) & SmartIT implementation.
Hands on experience on MyIT and SmartIT components and functions.
Knowledge on Mongo DB.
Experience and knowledge of ITSM customizations, configuration in server group, load balance environment and Web services is must, Experience in ebonding will be an added advantage.
Experience on both “Remedy on Premise” and “Remedy on Demand” environments.
Experience on Web services and RESTAPI integrations.
Experience on Applications, Forms, Active links, Filters, Active Link Guides, Filter Guides, Escalations, Menus, Web services, Skin Selectors, SRDs, Notification Tags, AIE jobs, AI jobs, Normalization jobs, Reconciliation jobs, UDM jobs and Smart Reporting Jobs.
Experience with the design, implementation, and Remedy ITSM deployments, upgrades and/or migrations.
Experience with implementation of Remedy CMDB and able to make recommendations for CM process and policy.
Experience creating/modifying workflows and application configuration for helpdesk trouble ticketing, incident, problem, change, and asset management.
Experience with the promotion of code and functions across environments (development, test, production) as well as in COOP required environments.
Experience in foundation data configuration and process configuration of BMC Remedy ITSM.
Experience migrating data and workflows using Remedy Migrator and Remedy Import/Export tools.
Experience with creating and updating project and implementation plans for Remedy ITSM transitions and upgrades.
Familiarity with Remedy deployments on MSSQL and Oracle based databases.
Proven ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution as well as overall maintenance of the systems.
Ability to provide training and guidance to other staff in the administration of the production Remedy environment.
Ability to supervise, coach, and develop junior staff.
Ability to work individually and in teams in the development, implementation and support of Remedy ITSM software.
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Deploy, configure ITSM 9.1 in enterprise environment.
Deploy MyIT & SmartIT functions and features in enterprise environment.
Configure various ITSM modules like Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Service Request Management, Knowledge Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Atrium Integrator and Smart Reporting.
Proficient in using BMC Remedy Developer Studio to implement user requirements with the best practices as per the company standards
Create Applications, Forms, Active links, Filters, Active Link Guides, Filter Guides, Escalations, Menus, Web services, Skin Selectors, SRDs, Notification Tags, AIE jobs, AI jobs, Normalization jobs, Reconciliation jobs, UDM jobs and Smart Reporting Jobs.
Integrate external component which runs on Java with BMC Remedy using web services and RESTAPIs.
Create AIE jobs to pull data into the ARS forms from flat files.
Create AI jobs using Pentaho Data Integration (Spoon Tool) 4.1.0 tool to get data from external flat files or from external DB into remedy forms
Create Normalization jobs to maintain product category consistency and Reconciliation jobs to move the CIs from user defined dataset to the golden dataset.
Create Application Templates, AOTs, PDTs and Standard SRDs as specified by the user requirement.
Create Advanced Interface Forms (AIF) in SRM
Create and schedule the smart reports using Smart Reporting application as per the user requirements.
Involve in deployment of code using export-import functionalities using Remedy Developer Studio
Create SQL select queries using SQL Developer Tool for Oracle DB and Microsoft SQL Server
Management Studio for MSSQL and Oracle DB.
Create AIE Jobs, AI Jobs, Normalization jobs, Reconciliation jobs, Standard SRDs and Notification Tags.
Load data using DMT/UDM and Remedy Data Import tool.
