• Developed a mobile App to reduce redundant manual effort of feeding the data to the systems. The mobile App enables the user to scan the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of the bike and enter the defect/repair information. This development was a marked improvement over the manual process that was in place earlier: noting the defect/repair information down using Pen and Paper and then feeding that information to the system using a desktop application. The overall savings due to this development were pegged at $16K.
• Migrated the PCo 2.1 version to PCo 15.1, resulting in fewer instances of work start, torque not taking and timeouts errors. As a result of this migration, downtime at the production line was reduced by approx. 10 minutes per shift.
• Developed the Bike History Mobile App. This application saved a lot of manual effort in querying the database, saving $4 K (per year) for the client.
