SUMMARY

In the role of UI/UX Developer, you will be an authority on user interface development with UX experience translating wireframe and visual designs into clickable prototypes that can be used for client/user validation and as starting code for development team. Also required to support writing functional requirements documents for dev team.
You will adhere to architecture principles for TCS offerings that provide expert web modernization and multi - platform UI and IA design for clients.
Execute user interface designs from product requirements and UI specification
Develop structured CSS3 from Design Specs and Wireframe comps (Axure & Illustrator)
Develop componentized UI architecture providing UI elements
Self-managed, ability to define tasks, effectively manage work streams/workloads, deliver in a timely manner
Detail-oriented self starter with strong problem solving skills
Strong understanding of database technologies, technical architecture and content management systems
Ability to develop code based on design guidelines and standards
Advocate and evangelize others in best practices for user-centered design and user research with clients and staff
Work with stakeholders to ensure UI/IA needs are aligned with the customer's business priorities
Provide hands-on work for UI development, wire framing, prototypes, information architecture, and presentations; support sales and presales efforts
Provide consultation to project teams on interaction approach, usability, information taxonomy, and navigation
Present information in one-on-one and group situations to UX Team.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but objective written or oral instructions
Display excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills and have a passion for relationship building
Keep abreast of industry trends, web development technology and advancements in the area of UI, UX, IA and “Mobile First” Responsive Web Design (RWD)
Identifying risk throughout all aspects of the program and related projects

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:

Four-year college degree (or commensurate experience)
A minimum five year UI development experience
Be proficient in front-end technologies including: Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML5, CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS), data visualization is a plus
Good understanding of underlying concepts such as: front-end frameworks, jQuery UI, Single Page Web App best practices
Must be capable in commenting and articulating development structure, including: product documentation, business logic and interaction diagramming, using applicable standards
Ability to fulfill, facilitate and lead UI/IA duties on any given project
Knowledge of web standards, technologies, and terminology
High-level computer and software skills (MS Office a must)
Strong attention to detail
Minimumone year of consulting experience preferred

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficiency using wire-framing tools (e.g., Axure, Visio, Balsamiq, InDesign, etc.)
Undergraduate and Graduate focus on user-centered design, information architecture, Master’s degree a plus
Experience with Agile, SCRUM is a plus
