Responsibilities:

Member of a B2C development team responsible for all phases of an electronic billing system employing a JHTML front end (similar to JSP), KSH and Java batch load processes using JDBC, and an Oracle data store. Billing / Consumer Data was converted from flat files into XML, then loaded into Oracle. Emails were sent out via stored procedures and java bean calls utilizing PL/SQL and Dynamo Presentation Server Templates. The websites employed a presentation server (Dynamo) and an integration server (BillCast) talking via Corba to implement java bean calls. Some of my specific tasks included the following:
Creating Oracle pl/sql scripts and javabeans to put statistical reporting data into the system.
Extending the payment processing engine, written in java, to accommodate biller specific data transfers.
Creating various formatting beans for the jhtml templates.
Insuring the middleware was tailored to the billers needs.
