- Began project with the awareness that businesses need to reach customers beyond the capabilities of print.
- Became familiar with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SemRush, Raven Tools, Moat, Mautic, bit.ly, Facebook for Business, Yelp for Business, and Yext.
- Built integrations with the tools, in differing combinations over time, into the production version of Confidential & Local. At one point there was a newsfeed from Search Engine Land and Think with Google.
- Worked extensively in Google Analytics and created a product suite for Google Tag Manager.
- The service created was a mix of print ads, display ads and local listings management with rotating campaigns. Each campaign brought a new iteration of postcard design, display ad design, landing page design and development.
- Tracked phone calls, clicks and conversions. On the landing pages, tracked scroll depths and clicks. The clicks were categorized by image, contact point, funnel step, etc.
- Forms completed on the site were mapped to an auto responder, a notification that a form was completed, and the client was entered into a sales funnel. Confidential is a shell of its previous functionality but it is a UI, with photos that were edited/created in Photoshop.
