Sr. Web Developer

Microsoft .NET 4.5,C ,ASP.NET, Linq to SQL, WCF,JQuery,Jquery UI,HTML5,Bootstrap,CSS,Sql Server 2008 R2,REST,FLOT,D3.js Bing Maps API, AngularJS,Windows Azure, Sql Azure

Responsibilities:

I am working on creating different visualizations using Html5 with CSS3 and back end on SQL Azure. These visualizations provide a deeper insight in to the market analysis, areas to enhance etc. The data is obtained from different kinds of sources like twitter, Facebook and other social networking sites and based on the data based on weekly, daily and monthly aggregations. I am using Flotr and D3.js for creating different graphs with JQuery, AJAX to interact with WCF services build which in turn gets the data from the back end database. As a part of authentication,I am working on creating the identity services for the website to restrict the login only to Microsoft domain. These also involve creation of different roles and provide access to the pages depending on the user accessibility. The web services and the UI is deployed to the Cloud as packages from time to time for the end users to have the real time experience periodically.

Responsibilities:

I worked with Exchange team. I developed a web based graphical visualizations to analyze the traffic, trending on the Exchange servers. This visual tool applies different algorithms like quick sort to sort the top samples .The sampling and the latencies gets changed every few seconds and the app is fed with constant live data from Sql azure and there is a web service which the UI pings every 5 minutes to get the latest update. In order to increase the efficiency, the sampling rate usually is uniform and not sporadic like the latencies so I am queuing the samples and storing in a buffer Max Queue so that whenever there is a request it just checks the top sample and if there is no change I will return just the top most sample and the corresponding Count instead of the whole data set. I am using Html5, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, JQuery UI, C ,.Net 4.5.WCF based web services. I used Flot for the graphical display of the models to explain the trend etc.All the UI and the Web services are deployed using Windows Azure and the back end is on Sql Azure.

Responsibilities:

I worked for digital Cinema, The core division of Technicolor. I am part of the team responsible for designing, developing and deploying different applications which play a crucial role for generating revenue to Technicolor Digital cinema. These applications are used across 2500 theatres alone in US and currently covering 75 of all the theatres across the world. We are also developing applications that cover huge client base like Warner Brothers, Paramount, Disney, Sony to name a few. I am currently using .Net 4.0 with c involving JQuery with HTML5 and CSS, at the UI level, WCF based REST for service layer, SQL Server with Linq to SQL to interact with the back end. Lately I started using FLOT jQuery based Plots/charts to project different kinds of usages to the end clients as per the end user requirement. Most of these sites are intentionally made UI centric to support mobile platforms as well. Thus the existing specification has been extended for rendering the sites on Mobile platforms and hence any heavy data centric pages are mostly using simplified version of pages. These pages are developed completely with HTML5, JQuery 1.9 etc.

Confidential I played a central role from procuring the requirements till deployment for this project. Elaborately, this involved collecting the requirements, designing the flow, development and testing of C and back end on SQL Server 2008.This is a new student system called EPIC, for all the Staff at all levels related to the County and this covers the complete office of education and all the schools under it which makes itself a complex site. It covers all phases of a student life right from infant till he graduates out of school which includes not only his students, his health and meals more or else tracking every minute of student's life as a whole.

I developed a student search mechanism which is all over the site. This uses JQuery to get the corresponding results. This was later extended for searching the staff as well.

Sr. Software Engineer

JavaScript with back end on SQL SERVER 2005.All the session information related to the administrative rights related to the project is placed in an XML file and used as per the requirement. It involves working on the requirements collected from the customers, designing the work flow by interacting with the other developers in the team, designing the database, development using ASP.NET 2.0 and back end on SQL SERVER and finally testing the application involving load testing, stress testing, unit testing for the classes independent of interface ,stability testing etc before deploying the web application on the server. In addition the SQL SERVER back end is also tested in terms of performance using SQL Profiler and Sql Trace to record the events and the data. This project used scrum based methodology to achieve the required output results.Confidential called SALT. The Win form application uses C involving Active Directory and LDAP for security using Visual Studio 2005 with SQL SERVER 2005,Infragistic controls and it also has a web application uses the ASP.NET 2.0 using AJAX, JavaScript, based Telerik RAD Controls with back end on SQL SERVER 2005.The salt application uses these two interfaces in parallel. These project covers from the inquiry about a salt program till the phase when the student becomes alumni. thus all the stages and intermediately stages involved covering courses offered by the program in a specific semester, courses taken by the student, billing statements, student life at U of A related to the salt program to name a few. Confidential JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets CSS and back end on SQL SERVER 2005.This is tested and deployment is in process. This is an online job portal for non-technical jobs which have covers each and every non-technical job from construction work to carpentry.

  • This Project mainly deals with visualizing the MPI programs at different levels and a concept called Continuous Semantic Zooming CSZ was applied to analyze the behavior of MPI programs in different perspectives. This is much advanced tool compared to Upshot and other current MPI tools. It takes the semantic zooming to explain the Parallel Processing behavior. THE CSZ takes Dijkstra's algorithm internally while transitioning between the layers. All the MPI calls taking place between the process has been visually represented and depending on the complexity of live data feed, the behavior used to analyze the phenomenon changes. Currently this is being used at Los Alamos National Laboratories LANL to analyze the MPI calls across the multiple networks.
  • The tool is flexible enough that the analysis can be done with the data feed being sent at high frame rate vs the low frame rate and from minimal 1 kb MPI call data till terra bites of data. Also during the analysis one can change the speed, zooming distance as per their comfort which makes it useful for analyzing at different knowledge levels by the end user. Even the number of processes that needs for MPI analysis can be changed.
  • This application was done as a perfect implementation for CSZ .The user see the high level picture from a given distance as they dig in, in other words as they zoom deeper the complexity enhances from a process level to a minute MPI call level. Thus the tool clearly depicts what MPI call is called from what process at what point of time and what is the result may be a new MPI call getting triggered or the existing MPI call getting intercepted etc is clearly depicted as you zoom in more and more and thus resulting in enhancing the complexity visually represented with utmost clarity to ease the analysis.
