- Eclipse for PHP was used as the primary development IDE for the backend PHP coding. The local development environment was run on an Apache Web Server running PHP and MySQL. Development of the PHP scripts and SQL design involved implementing the following:
- Leveraged MySQL PDO (PHP Data Objects) in the design of each used interaction between client and host systems.
- Implemented PDO prepared statements for every transaction, which improves response times as well as adding an extra level of security, specifically for SQL injection.
- Implemented a Google Geolocation API, by which a set of missing location coordinates (Latitude-Longitude) could be collected based upon a full postal address supplied by Los Angeles County.
- Developed a set of PHP and Swift 3 routines that will parse JSON data streams between client and host.
- All SQL queries and table definitions built on the backend were designed and developed on the local environment using Navicat for MySQL.

- Reviewed and revised software code when not matching (PSDD) specifications.
- Other tasks included developing hundreds IBM DB2 queries based on business requirements that were used as starting points for production Cobol source code.
- Participated as a developer on numerous Common Membership (CM) and Confidential projects. Created component specification documents and executed unit test plans per (PSDD). Coded and maintained legacy source code based on (PSDD) specifications. Was adept using Cobol, DB2, SQL, (IBM Rational/EGL for CICS Development), (IBM Visualage Generator for CICS Development), IBM Utilities and JCL.
- Created development tools/utilities with REXX scripts and IBM Dialog Manager Services.
- Acted Technical Analyst on the Confidential conversion project (1 year). Converted from an IBM mainframe Confidential legacy system (CICS-DB2) to a mid-tier system by Continuum's MarketProminance product. Was responsible for translating numerous business requirement documents into component coding specifications. - Performed analysis and coding for the Colorado Regional Management (CRM) system. (Cobol, DB2)
- Provided analysis for the Claims Shared Services Organization (CSSO) project, which entailed detailed analysis of program/process defects.
- Performed analysis and coding for Confidential Modernization Act (MMA) Benefits and Contracts project. Created detailed design documents and coded numerous programs.
