Responsibilities:
- Project started on Jan 2015, completed on April 2016: The client required modernization of costly legacy infrastructure incapable of supporting the company’s exploding business growth.
- The solution presented to the client called for migration of the core company applications to a modern secure elastic hybrid cloud computing infrastructure. Repurposing of existing commodity hardware to host the private part of the hybrid cloud was part of the solution’s value proposition. The solution also included the migration of the application layers to Docker containers using Docker’s Data Center. These containers were initially hosted using Docker Swarm and Docker Machine on top of OpenStack while the project waited for Docker Data Center.
