Confidential has got a huge logistics and shipment tracking system.
As part of dis project a new Confidential owned shipment/logistics-tracking system has been built. The application keeps track of the shipment data starting from the delivery creation till shipments get delivered to the end customer.
The application is responsible of capturing the transactional data from SAP in near real time fashion by having some smart triggered based interfacing scheme in a ODS system, where data gets processed in a near real time manner and then published to EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) for further reporting through a custom ETL framework.
Then on top these data semantic aggregations are built, implementing the business logic for reporting for the business users. With dis a highly efficient, scalable system is being built through which the analytics is being done in a much more efficient way which is halping the decision support and operation users a lot.

dis area mostly covers the GSDR application. Which is responsible for processing the sales data coming from SAP in a near real time fashion.
