- Led project to implement Logical and Physical Data Modeling Process and Standards for the Publix IT Enterprise. Developed Publix specific Logical and Data Modeling courses which have been attended by over 150 Publix IT associates.
- Led project to redesign the Monitor and Response SLA’s for the Oracle DBA team to optimize support for mission critical, high availability applications such as Enterprise Pharmacy OLTP and DW, Supply Chain and Transportation Management systems. This project improved uptime and availability, saving the company $500K in the first year alone. Recruited, hired and trained additional Oracle DBAs with experience in dealing with large database systems (>1TB) to supplement existing staff. In the past 3 years, the Oracle team has significantly reduced database outages and upgraded these key systems from Oracle 9i to Oracle 11g.
