The client has a major data insufficiency issue and can't perform even the most basic BI functions. I was able to create a data gathering and BI strategy leveraging their current assets and they are not getting good management reports. The client is creating an enterprise data warehouse EDW to replace the legacy warehouse. The legacy warehouse is not scalable and is a conglomeration of marts that have grown over time. There is no common framework or standard. Therefore, the warehouse performs poorly and needs to be constantly changed.
