• The Human Resources business area of the nVision Data Warehouse provides a variety of data on both full time employees FTE and non-FTE staff including personnel costs, FTE usage, aggregate workforce demographics, status of personnel actions, Fellowship costs and status, and Employee Directory system NED Tracking/History which provides users with a record of all personnel i.e. Employees, Contractors, Volunteers, Fellows, etc. movement within the NIH Employee Directory system NED . The information in this business area supports a broad range of human resource management activities: analysis and forecasting of personnel costs for budgeting, tracking leave and overtime usage, staffing decisions based on FTE utilization, forward planning based on attrition, tracking promotion and within-grade increase eligibility, analysis of personnel actions by type for a specified period of time, and tracking domestic and foreign fellowship training awards.

• Requirements Analysis - Identify sources of data and document business rules.
• Convert existing processing of HRDB data in to Informatica mappings and move all HRDB tables into Landing/Staging area.

• Kaiser Permanente KP is America's largest nonprofits health management organization serving over 8 million members throughout United States. The IT division of the company had a business need to extract data from various OLTP systems and cleanse, conform and deliver/load the data into target systems to provide data required for regulatory authorities. As a part of these requirements various ETL systems have been developed and delivered that aligns to the strategic, tactical and federal compliance needs of the company.
• Kaiser is also responsible for the execution of changes in Medicare program procured by the US government to provide senior citizens and individuals with disabilities with a prescription drug benefit. Beginning with the 2006 contract year several new features will take effect and more choices and benefits will be available to members enrolled in the Medicare Choice M C program.
• This requires transformation of Kaiser Member data from its various Source Systems according to defined business rules, and loading them in target systems. After the data loading process all Operational and Analytical Reports are sent to NMF the National Medicare Finance Department of Kaiser .The subset of the Medicare project in which the ETL Development team worked consists of different extracts on NMF, thus called NMF Project. Project Description:

The Clearing and settlement C S is essential for clearing and settlement between Visa members. Each eligible single message transaction processed by the Switch has a clearing record in Universal Message Format UMF created containing transaction and member information. These records are processed into UMF on the DFM-C server and fed to the C S application on a regular basis via MQ Series. The C S application will take the UMF records processed by the VDPS Switch and generate clearing and settlement information. The C S application also feeds data to applications that generate reports and raw data for single message endpoints. Messages are sent to C S for every transaction including financial, network, file maintenance, and rejects involving either a Single Acquirer or Single Issuer, or for Dual to Dual ATM Balance Inquiries and Declines.
