Career Objective

I'd truly prefer a long-term position. While I may take short-term contracts to increase resources or bridge commitments, I'm interested in keeping a leadership role within a corporate or government entity that can take advantage of my years of hands-on experience in diverse projects and expertise in setting up self-steering and self-sustaining environments with my knowledge of management, administration, security, design and my talent of analysis and optimization. I would like something to invest into and a place to make a commitment to as much as they make a commitment to me.

Employment History

A forward:

  • I'm an overall computer expert, mostly specializing in databases, working with them for since I was 15, over 25 years professionally.
  • I'm knowledgeable about most platforms and code, both old and new, although most recently this has emphasized Oracle, MS-SQL Server and Database Security.
  • Although I have long managed large-scale projects, people, environments and whole regions, this has always been hands-on , able to execute and includes expertise in networking, development, design, architecture, analysis, security, documentation, mentoring, training, integration, migration, high-performance, high-capacity, high-availability five 9s , 24/7, VLDB, remote, international, continental, foreign and so on
  • I'm known for getting the solution, drilling down with my analysis talents and often greatly optimizing troublesome and legacy environments processes with my skills. Seeing things others cannot. Making things better where others haven't been able to. Making things quiet. Making things zoom. Nothing makes me happier than to see something that I've created actually being used, no matter how small. Management is simply another aspect to the overall goal of making something happen Giving a great product.
  • Please, if you do not see what you need here, let me know unfortunately there is not enough room to include everything I've done or its context or what I can do. Thank you for your consideration and patience.
  • NOTE: The ordering is first on Most Recent, then Long-term positions and afterwards Short-term projects of some significance. This is to prevent some confusion on the timeline. Also, I do at times take on projects that over-lap my primary employment. This is only with permission and acknowledgment of no conflict. Please let me know if you have concerns with this.
